MARTIN, JCR CONTINUE TOP-5 STREAK, EARN 2ND PODIUM

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (May 10th, 2015) – Heading into rounds 7 and 8 of the 2015 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda season at Indianapolis, one thing clearly on the side of John Cummiskey Racing and rookie standout Anthony Martin was momentum.

The Australian talent continued that momentum, and certainly made his presence be known to the Mazda Road to Indy community by capping off Friday’s Race 1 finish of 4th, by way of scoring a podium at the second consecutive race weekend in Saturday’s Race 2 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Martin’s 4th and 3rd place finishes at Indianapolis helped solidify his 4th place standing, and hold on top rookie honors, as the series reaches its half-way point.

Martin and the #33 Burgess BLA car will face a new challenge, this weekend, as the series heads to the famed Lucas Oil Raceway in nearby Clermont, IN.

Martin will be making his oval-track debut on the 0.686-mile circuit famous for its rich history of top-tier championship winning drivers who began their careers at Lucas Oil Raceway in sprint cars, midgets stock cars, and the Mazda Road to Indy.

The 2015 FreedomFest kicks off with practice on Saturday, May 23rd with practice at 8:00AM, followed by qualifying and ultimately the race at approximately 12:15 Eastern on Saturday afternoon.
