MARTIN UTILIZES VALUABLE SIMULATOR TESTING TO PREPARE FOR TORONTO

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (June 9th, 2015) – With the 2015 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda headed towards it’s culmination beginning with Rounds 10 and 11 (of 16) this weekend on the streets of Toronto, there is still plenty of unfinished business left for rookie standout Anthony Martin, and the #33 Burgess BLA sponsored John Cummiskey Racing team.

Following an impressive 4th place finish in his oval debut in the Mazda Freedom 75 at Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, IN on May 23rd, Martin has utilized the off-weeks in the season to prepare for his debut north-of-the-border on the ultra-competitive 1.75mi 11-turn street circuit in Toronto by watching past INDYCAR races on the circuit, and perhaps most valuably, with driver in the loop simulator testing of the #33 Burgess BLA car on the Streets of Toronto and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car course (where rounds 12, 13, and 14 will be contested next month).

Martin will look to carry-over the skills and tips learned from the simulator to good use as he looks to further cement his standing as the top rookie for 2015 (4th in the championship standings), and make a run at the point leaders in the closing rounds of the 2015 season.

The 2015 rounds on the Streets of Toronto kick off June 12th (8:45AM Eastern) with two practices, followed by qualifying and Race 1 on Saturday, June 13th (12:40 PM Eastern) and closing out the double header weekend with Race 2 Sunday, June 14th (9AM Eastern).
