MARTIN EXTENDS TOP-5 STREAK, CLOSES GAP TO 3RD IN CHAMPIONSHIP IN SOGGY TORONTO RACE 2

TORONTO (June 28th, 2015) – Following a beautiful day Saturday in Toronto for Race 1, heavy rain began to fall on the Exhibition Place circuit, leaving teams scrambling to switch from slick tires, to the Cooper Tires rain tires.

Hot off a 3rd podium Saturday in Toronto, Martin, who loves the wet conditions advanced from his 4th place starting position to 3rd after a fantastic start, and Aaron Telitz in the wet conditions, trading 3rd position three times over the first 7 laps of the race, culminating with Martin ultimately winning the battle, and taking sole possession of 3rd place.

Martin continued his charge from his 4th place starting position, but in a rare misstep by the series most impressive rookie driver, Martin missed a corner entry while attempting a pass for 2nd place. Unfortunately, the race was shortened to 15 laps and finished under yellow, not allowing Martin to recover and reclaim a spot on the podium.

Despite the disappointing result of finishing under yellow, Martin was able to maintain 4th place and score his 9th top-5 finish in the last 11 rounds of the 2015 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda, and continued to chip away at Aaron Telitz for 3rd in the championship, and put further distance beyond Parker Thompson and Luke Gabin for top rookie honors.

The team now heads to the famed 13-turn, 2.258-mile Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for a 2 day test in preparation for a
triple-header event at the penultimate round of the 2015 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda back
at Mid Ohio on July 30th.
